Rama Krishna Mission - Sargachi

My Journey with Ramakrishna Mission started very early in life. I am presently deeply involved with Ramakrishna Mission, Sargachi.

This is the first branch of Ramakrishna Mission with its present Headquarters at Belur Math. Founded by Swami Akhandanandaji Maharaj, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna in 1897, the Ashrama has engaged itself in disaster-management, educational & several healthcare activities of the local people since its inception. Swami Akhandanandaji Maharaj and his team, has turned this unknown, remote village of Sargachi into a huge complex with varied philanthropic activities & I have been fortunate to be a part of it.

MEGA HEALTH CAMP at Odolchua, Belpahari - Jangal Mahal - 10,000 patients - Rotary International

Led a team of 46 Doctors, 12 Pharmacists and several hundred volunteers in between February 28, 2013 to March 3rd, 2013 to attend to 10,000 patients with free distribution of medicines on behalf of Rotary International District 3291 in the heavily Naxal infiltrated zone of Jangal Mahal under Police Cover. Belpahari is a village in the Binpur II CD block in the Jhargram subdivision of the Jhargram district in West Bengal, India. It had been in the frontline frequently for the killings of Communist Party of India (Marxist) leaders and supporters repeatedly by the Communist Party of India (Maoist) guerrillas.

MEDICAL MISSION to ILORIN, NIGERIA - Team of 12 doctors - 872 Surgeries - Rotary International

TEAM LEADER: Medical Mission to ILORIN, KWARA State, NIGERIA with a team of 12 Doctors representing various Surgical Specialities from April 21st, 2013 to May 6, 2013 conducting 872 surgeries in a period of 15 days. This Medical Camp was jointly organised by Rotary International Districts 3291 (India) & 9125 (Nigeria). Ilorin is the capital city of Kwara State located in the North-central region of Nigeria. It is dominated by the Yorubas, and has an emirate system of traditional rule, with a population of over a million (2024 Census)

Medical Mission to Sindhupal Chowk, NEPAL EARTHQUAKE 2015 - 11 Doctors - Nepal Prahari (Police)

Medical mission to NEPAL during the 2015 Eearthquake with a team of 11 Doctors providing relief and medical aid to in the worst affected district, Sindhupal Chowk, the worst affected area. in collaboration with Nepal Prahari (Police) from May 6, 2015 to May 12, 2015.

That apart I have contributed, assisted, guided, several other such social organisations which aimed at alleviating the difficulties of the common man across communities in West Bengal
